Event Information

Here’s what you need to know ahead of the event. We’ll regularly update this page with new information.

The safety of our ticket holders and staff is our priority. All event-goers will be required to go through a security point. We reserve the right to search anyone entering the venue, and all bags will be searched on entry. Please allow sufficient time to pass through the security points.

Searches will be carried out by the security staff at the entrances, and prohibited items will be confiscated. Confiscated items will be destroyed and therefore unavailable for collection on exit from the event:

✗  drinks (other than one unopened bottle of water per person)
✗  illegal substances, psychoactive substances, nitrous oxide and legal highs
✗  spray paint aerosols
✗  camping chairs, gazebos, umbrellas or picnic blankets
✗  anything that could be reasonably considered for use as a weapon
✗  portable or disposable barbeques/gas/paraffin lamps or any fire/gas related cooking equipment
✗  portable laser equipment and pointer-pens
✗  drones, quadcopters, remote controlled flying devices
✗  megaphones, air horns, compressed air

We strongly advise you do not bring a bag into the venue. If you do wish to bring a bag, please ensure that it is no bigger than A4 sized 8.27”x11.69”. There is a limited to one A4 sized bag per person permitted into the venue.

We welcome all ages to our events. However, there are entry restrictions for under 16s and we do advise not bringing young children. Anyone 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible ticket holder over 18 years old at all times. ID may be required upon entry to the event.

While our advice remains that this event is not suitable for babies or small children, those under 3 years are admitted free of charge. They must be carried in their parents’ arms or in a sling, as we are unable to allow prams and pushchairs in the venue.

On entering the event, children will be given a wristband which has space for you to write your telephone number (as a parent or guardian). We can use this as a primary contact to reunite you. Replacements can be picked up at the First Aid Area.

Please bring ID if you look under 21 years old and remember that legally there is no automatic right to be served alcohol. Service is always at the discretion of the licensee for whatever reason they decide, and the licensee is under no obligation to explain the reason.

Please bring the original document as you won’t be able to use a photocopied version.

We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18’s on site.

Event parking and drop-off is available on the country park site, which is less than 500m away from the concert area. The car park is accessible via the country park's entrance from Church Road (using Google Maps, use postcode NP26 4HW which will take you to the Castle Inn pub which is right next to the entrance). Please do not use the castle's postcode as it will likely take you to the wrong entrance.

If you want to park your car for the evening, click here to book a parking pass for free. Users of the car park do so at their own risk and vehicles cannot be left in the car park overnight.

Those walking from Caldicot town can use any main entrance of the country park.

Arriving by car: From M4 take junction 23a and B4245 to Caldicot. From M48 take junction 2 for Chepstow and follow A48 (towards Newport) and B4245 to Caldicot. Caldicot Castle is sign posted from B4245.

We are supporting Caldicot Food Bank at this event.

All ticket holders are asked to bring an item to be donated to Caldicot Food Bank. A list of items that the food bank needs at the time will be sent to ticket holders in the run up to the event. Items will be taken on the door of the venue during security and ticket checks.

There are no seats available for the concert. It is possible to sit down on the grass of the venue between acts, but you will not be able to see the performance while sitting on the grass.

Please note that camping chairs, gazebos, umbrellas or picnic blanket are unable to be brought into the venue.

You can bring light snacks with you into the venue. Picnics are not permitted. Please note that there will be no food vendors inside the venue. We encourage you to visit the local pubs and restaurants before and after the event!

No alcohol or drinks can be brought into the venue, other than one unopened bottle of water per person. There will be bars open selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
